I attended Classic Game Fest 2026 in Austin, TX this past weekend, July 24 - 26. I was only able to go Saturday, July 25th, unfortunately, but I had a blast! It's doable to walk the whole building in a day, while visting most vendor booths and play a few games. I recommend going the entire weekend so you can experience all the entertainment that the fest has to offer.

This year, it was way more packed than previous years. There were more vendors. There were more guests. There were 3 different food and beverage locations inside the event, as well as multiple food trucks outside. There were more vegetarian options this year, which was nice to see. The event was well planned and executed. Props to Game Over Videogames for hosting!
